Adrian College Youth Art Program 'ART ROCKS', started many years ago. It is an art program that goes beyond the regular art classroom. Therefore, projects are more elaborate or have materials that are more expensive. Students range from Kindergarten to eighth grade. Many of the students have been with the program for years.
This session's theme is plants, fruits, and vegetables. So, of course we wanted to visit Hidden Lake Gardens to inspire each student with the scenery and the unique plants in the indoor gardens.
Involving our community is important to the program. The artwork will be displayed at Hidden Lakes Garden's 'Gallery'. An artist reception will be held at Hidden Lake Gardens on December 5 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. don’t miss this opportunity to meet and visit with these young artists.
