    Earth Day:  Trees for Home and Garden

    Location: Hidden Lake Gardens, Tipton, MI

    Celebrate Earth Day at Hidden Lake Gardens.  Learn about the benefits of trees.  Participate in a tree planting ceremony with Cub Scout Pack 607.  Take home a tree seedling to plant in your garden.  To register, visit the Tecumseh District Library website or call 517-423-2238.  Tree planting program and ceremony.

    Friends of Hidden Lake Gardens members receive a sneak-peek chance to purchase the great plants of the HLG Plant Sale the evening before the public sale.

    Plant Sale

    Location: Hidden Lake Gardens, Tipton, MI

    The annual Plant Sale offers annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, conifers, hostas, vegetables, herbs, and other ornamental garden and landscape plants.  HLG staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions and assist in plant selections.  Visit our website in May for an updated list of plants for sale.  Plant Sale hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Adopt-A-Highway

    Location: Hidden Lake Gardens, Tipton, MI

    Join the Friends of Hidden Lake Gardens in clearing trash and debris from our entry way.  Michigan Department of Transportation’s Adopt-A-Highway program provides volunteer care for 6,400 miles of roadways, and has collected over one million bags of trash.  Participants must be age 12 or older.  Meet in the Visitors Center.  9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
