    Preschool Program - Playdate with Kermit T. Frog!

    Location: Hidden Lake Gardens, Tipton, MI

    Enjoy a puppet show featuring Kermit the Frog. Plus take a frog walk around the pond and in the Conservatory, make a craft, and have a froggy snack.     Join us during National Pollinator Week and learn about how flowers are pollinated and who pollinates the flowers.     Master Rain Gardener Certification Class

    Location: Hidden Lake Gardens, Tipton, MI

    Become a Master Rain Gardener or just learn more about Rain Gardens. This is an online webinar class broadcast live in the Auditorium at Hidden Lake Gardens. Webinar is conducted by the Washtenaw County Water Resources Office. Presenters are Susan Bryan, Rain Garden Coordinator for Washtenaw County; Shannon Gibb-Randall, Principal at InSite Design Studio; and Harry Sheehan, Deputy Water Resources Commissioner.  Webinar classes are Fridays, July 14, 21, 28, and August 4, 11, 18, from 12 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Classes are free; however, registration is required - please call 517-431-2060.     Adopt-A-Highway

    Location: Hidden Lake Gardens, Tipton, MI

    Join the Friends of Hidden Lake Gardens in clearing trash and debris from our entry way.  Michigan Department of Transportation’s Adopt-A-Highway program provides volunteer care for 6,400 miles of roadways, and has collected over one million bags of trash.  Participants must be age 12 or older.  Meet in the Visitors Center.  9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

    Turtles are best known for being slow yet winning the race.     The Art of Bonsai

    Location: Hidden Lake Gardens, Tipton, MI

    Bonsai Show, Art Inspired by Bonsai Exhibit, Plant and Supply Vendors, Learning Sessions, and, of course, the Hidden Lake Gardens Bonsai Collection will all be featured during The Art of Bonsai celebration. The Bonsai Show is a $3 entry fee; all other activities and events are included with the regular admission to HLG. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
